Payment, Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Crafito Arts and Film Academy London Ltd (‘’Crafito’’) we are committed to delivering high-quality and accessible online learning experiences. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which learners may request refunds or cancel their course purchases and outlines our process for resolving refund-related queries.

1. Course Purchases and Refund Eligibility

Crafitooffers courses on a pay-per-course basis. Refunds may be granted under the following terms:

a. Refund Period - In-Person Courses

  • Refunds for in-person courses may be requested up to 10 calendar days before the course start date.
  • A 10% administration fee will be deducted from the total course fee.

b. Non-Refundable Situations - In-Person Courses

  • The cancellation request is made within 10 calendar days of the course start date.
  • The learner fails to attend the course without prior written notice (no-shows).
  • The learner leaves the course early or withdraws after the start date, for any reason.
  • The learner is dismissed due to breach of academy policies, misconduct, or disruptive behaviour.
  • The course was purchased as part of a special offer, discounted package, or non-refundable promotion, clearly marked as such.
  • The course is cancelled or interrupted due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. force majeure, public health emergencies), in which case a reschedule or credit may be offered instead.

c. Refund Period - Online Courses

You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of your online course purchase, provided:

  • You have not accessed the course content; and
  • You have not received a certificate of completion for the course.

d. Non-Refundable Situations - Online Courses

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • The course content has been accessed.
  • A certificate of completion has been issued.
  • The refund request is made after the 14-day period from the date of purchase.
  • You are dissatisfied with your final grade or did not complete the course.

3. How to Request a Refund

  • Full name and email address used at purchase
  • Course title
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for refund request

Requests will be reviewed within 5 working days, and you will receive confirmation of the outcome by email.

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method within 14 days of approval.

4. Technical or Access Issues

If you are unable to access your course due to a technical fault on our platform:

  • Please report the issue here immediately.
  • We will make every effort to resolve the issue promptly.
  • If the problem cannot be resolved and you are unable to access the course entirely, you may be eligible for a full refund, even if the standard refund conditions do not apply.

5. Duplicate Payments

If a payment is accidentally processed more than once:

  • A full refund will be issued for the duplicate transaction upon verification.
  • Please provide a copy of your payment receipt or transaction ID.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

If you encounter prolonged technical problems or feel that the course does not match its description, we will make every effort to address the issue. Should we find that the course is defective or materially misrepresented, a refund or exchange will be provided in line with UK consumer protection legislation.

All such requests must include valid supporting documentation and will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Crafito.

7. Course Modifications and Availability

Crafito reserves the right to update, modify, or retire course content at any time in order to maintain accuracy and relevance. These updates:

  • Do not affect the learner’s access to the course for the duration of their enrolment.
  • Do not entitle the learner to a refund, provided that similar educational value remains available.

If a course is retired shortly after purchase and before completion, a full or partial refund may be considered.

8. Changes to Pricing

Crafito reserves the right to revise pricing for courses at any time. Price changes will not affect learners who have already purchased the course prior to the change. No refunds will be issued for pricing differences after purchase.

9. Breaches of Terms of Use

Learners found to be in breach of Terms of Use (including academic dishonesty or misuse of the platform) will not be eligible for refunds under any circumstances, even if their request falls within the standard refund window.
